Yesterday we discovered a whole new world altogether- the under-water world. The weather was scorching hot, our spirits were high and our skins got sun-burnt after merely an hour and despite a thick layer of sunscreen. A fair price to pay for a chance to peep into a world of corals, many fantastic coloured fish and best of all- slowly bouncing sea-turtles. It seemed almost unbelievable that right there, under our very noses, lay hidden such a wonderful community, so varied, vibrant and beautiful. Some fish would stop and stare at us curiously, some would not even notice, some would quickly dig themselves to small holes to hide, packs of fish would act like a single being. I heard music where there was none, the depth after the reef edge sounded with sinister undertones, while the sunlit coral surface rang a bright and happy family tune.
Returning from snorkelling, trying very hard to balance on the rocky seabed.
Back on the boat- burning up but happyAfter snorkelling we went to another little island, the locals called it Virgin Island for the lack of habitation and the pristine sands. Talk about a paradise :)
