The temples of Angkor

As seen from the title we have finally reached Siem Reap and the world-famous temples of Angkor.

Siem Reap is a small and pleasant town, the temperatures seem a tad cooler in the evenings than we are used to from Phnom Penh and our hotel boasts with luxuries like hot water and tv that we haven't had (or missed) for ages.

As for Angkor... Has anybody really got the right words to describe the spendour of these buildings... I think we will let the pictures speak for themselves this time.

This time we rented bicycles for our sight-seeing. It was very hot but we loved the exercise and plan to keep it up for the remainder of our time here.
